Struct-Eng design Solutions Ltd is a locally owned structural engineering firm based in Christchurch and provides structural engineering services throughout NZ. As an emerging consultant in seismic engineering, we are passionate about developing low-damage design solutions for our clients.

Struct-Eng was responsible for the full structural design of a two-storey office building for the Solomon Islands Government, located in Kirakira. The scope of work included comprehensive seismic design for both the structure and its foundation, along with support for local engineers in the gravity design. In addition, Struct-Eng conducted a complete review of the project and provided the final approval for the design.
The building is situated in a high seismic zone, with seismic activity exceeding that of Christchurch. As a result, the structure is subjected to very high seismic loads, requiring robust engineering solutions to ensure safety and performance.
Struct-Eng was responsible for the structural design of a residential block. In addition to delivering the design, we provided full support to the client throughout the construction phase, addressing all queries raised. Furthermore, we carried out specific structural calculations for the balustrade design, ensuring compliance beyond the requirements of the proprietary product.
